Fabric Guide

A practical guide to unstitched fabrics

Unstitched fabric gives you control over silhouette, fit and finish. Before choosing, compare the fibre, weave, weight, opacity, drape and included pieces shown on the product page.

Light and breathable

Lawn and lightweight cotton are popular for warm weather because they feel airy and are easy to style for everyday wear. Cambric has a slightly denser hand and can create a more structured finish.

Texture and occasion

Chiffon and organza are often selected for dupattas, layering and occasion details. Embroidery, print placement and embellishment should be considered before cutting.

Cooler seasons

Khaddar, linen blends and heavier cottons offer more substance for transitional and cooler weather. Wash-and-wear fabrics are valued for practical everyday use and easy maintenance.

Before you cut

Check every component, inspect the fabric and follow the care guidance first. Where recommended, pre-shrink washable natural fabrics and consult an experienced tailor for placement and matching.
