Unstitched fabric and sizing
Most of our preview collection is unstitched, so there is no fixed garment size. The important measurements are the length and width of each fabric component and whether the set includes a shirt, trouser, dupatta or additional panels.
Measure before tailoring
Ask your tailor to record shoulder, bust or chest, waist, hip, sleeve, shirt length and trouser length measurements. Allow for ease, seam allowance, design placement and any expected shrinkage.
Check the product details
Every final product page will identify the piece count and supplied measurements. Do not assume that two designs include the same amount of fabric, even when both are described as two-piece or three-piece sets.
Size Guide Questions
Is unstitched fabric one size?
It is flexible rather than one-size. Suitability depends on the supplied fabric measurements, the intended design and your tailoring requirements.
Should I wash fabric before stitching?
Follow the product care instructions. Some washable natural fabrics may benefit from pre-shrinking, while embellished or delicate pieces may require specialist handling.
Can my tailor change the design?
Usually, but print placement, borders and embroidered panels can limit alterations. Review all components with your tailor before cutting.
